A chemical enterprise in Malaysia, specializing in pharmaceutical intermediates and food-grade additives, planned to build a high-purity buffer salt ultrafine powder production line. The target product fineness was D97 ≤ 10 μm, with narrow particle size distribution and contamination-free operation.

After evaluating several suppliers, the customer chose EPIC Powder as its technology partner and adopted our air classifier mill system to achieve high-efficiency, clean, and stable production of buffer salt powder.

Key Project Requirements

  • High purity and contamination-free production – buffer salt is sensitive to metallic ions such as Fe and Cr.

  • Low-temperature grinding – to prevent agglomeration, moisture absorption, or crystal structure changes.

  • Anti-contamination design: All parts in contact with the product are made of ceramic or polyurethane to prevent metal pollution.
  • Moisture and temperature control: Closed-loop airflow and cooling system to maintain product stability.
